Thanks Wayne! I had to laugh reading your comment, I seem to have several ‘doggie’ friends on Facebook and Twitter! Lots of cartoon characters too! Obviously all people aren’t into personal branding but if they are on line to do business then they should be!

Hi Vicki! DITTO on this one!!! Gravatars are so important to your presence and personal brand online. I am way more likely to want to visit someone’s website that has a face with a name… verses someone who does not.

Very important factor to your success online and especially in blogging communities it is a must!!

Great to see you today, thanks for stopping by! I know, I see quite a lot of faceless icons, and ALL of them that are intercepted by my WordPress Akismet plugin are faceless! But the ones that aren’t snagged there may be people who are starting out and don’t really get how important personal branding is. They’ll figure it out eventually, especially if they come upon this post of someone else who tells them!

We sometimes overlook something so simple as needing our photo next to our comments everywhere we go… especially if we are trying to get our name our there (Personal Branding)!

There are many people out there needing this information… I get people leaving comments on my blog that don’t have their pictures (much of it is spam)… are they trying to hide their true identity?
