I love this inspirational quote, named “What is Life?” that I came across by way of a dear friend. It has been on my wall for a long time.
It reminds us of the importance of living life to the fullest, and making the most out of each and every day, which we sometimes fail to do with our busy lives, and with our challenges.
But our success depends on it! If we are not living to the fullest and being the best possible person that we can, and enjoy and be grateful for all of the gifts we are given, including the people in our lives both online and offline, well, we just are missing the boat.
I’m grateful to all of you who stop by, whether or not you stop to say hello, I just hope that I can give something back here.
This has also made me think of one of my other favorite quotes :
“What we are is God’s gift to us. What we become is our gift to God.” ~Eleanor Powell
What is Life?
Life is an Adventure … Dare it
Life is a Beauty … Praise it
Life is a Challenge … Meet it
Life is a Duty … Perform it
Life is a Love … Enjoy it
Life is a Tragedy … Face it
Life is a Struggle … Fight it
Life is a Promise … Fulfill it
Life is a Game … Play it
Life is a Gift … Accept it
Life is a Journey … Complete it
Life is a Mystery … Unfold it
Life is a Goal … Achieve it
Life is an Opportunity … Take it
Life is a Puzzle … Solve it
Life is a Song … Sing it
Life is a Sorrow … Overcome it
Life is a Spirit … Realize it
Bhagavad Gita

Hi Stacy, Its not a poem. Its a brief summary of the Hindu Holy Book “The Bhagavad Gita”
Hi Bharah!
I did call this a poem though that may not be technically correct, I did reference the Bhagavad Gita at the bottom. As it happens, my dear friend from whom I got this is Hindu.
Thanks for your comment and clarification that it is a summary of the Hindu Holy book!
Wishing you Every Joy and Success,

Thank you for sharing this. I try to live this way but have never seen these exact words. I love the expression of these ideas and believe I will print them up and put them on a mirror somewhere. The world’s Holy Books contain so much wisdom!
