I enjoyed your post Vicky. A lot of good information and learning how to handle rejection in a positive way. Building relationships & customer service is very important in any business. Also, remembering not to take rejection personal and to move on with those that are really interested in your product or services. You are so right about the not taking time to learn the basic principles! There were plenty of skills in the old school methods that really were never taught, and now with online marketing, there are soooo many more! It does take time but the payoff is huge.

Another great post by you! Attraction marketing is definately the way to go if you are looking to build a thriving business, but the problems lies when people don’t take the time to LEARN the basic principals.

It is so more rewarding also, then the old school way of prospecting. It is all about people helping people get what they want! That kind of job just sounds fun to me!

It’s a side effect of our instant gratification society and what technology normally provides that people are misled into thinking that using technology to do business removes the need for relationships, but you are right, if you build relationships first, everything else does take care of itself!

This is my first visit to your blog and it certainly won’t be my last. What a fantastic source of great information.

I saw a quote on a Caribou Coffee cup yesterday that fits in here. “Technology is good but people are better”. You certainly are giving with your knowledge and time and are a great example in an industry riddled with trickery and deception. Build relationships and everything else will take care of itself.
