GROWTH in your MLM businessMost network marketing professionals know that the first year is the most difficult,  sometimes not breaking even or finding limited success, all while you are working the hardest.

These people also understand that payback comes in spades after the initial investment.

They know that by learning the required skills, and more importantly, maintaining your vision, working your plan, and staying on the leading edge, you can begin to realize the exponential growth that is possible.

But the top earners in the industry, the ones to which everyone looks for leadership and training, also know that there are particular actions which when accomplished, tip the scales in your favor in your business growth.

These are the important factors that make the difference in both the timing of and the degree to which you will see results.

You might be surprised that they could actually be so simple, but this much is true: Just about all of those who have made it to 6 and multiple 7 figure incomes agree that there are key tipping points upon which their fortunes began to change, and the consensus resonates around these actions in particular:

1) Writing down your ‘Why’, your dreams, your expectations. Write down what you SEE yourself DOING (notice the PRESENT tense in that statement!) are once you are making $10, $50k/month and more.

You might not think it’s important to write it down because you have it in your head.

Or you may even find it difficult to be specific about something seemingly so far from reality.

But it has been said over and over again throughout time that the act of writing these things down begins their manifestation into reality.

And then keep that goal and vision in mind by daily affirmations and reading your statements. This will compel you to consistently challenge yourself and persist when the going gets tough or slow.

When you see results and have that sense of satisfaction from those results, you then bolster your belief.

2) Having Belief – You can have your ‘why’, your goals and your plans, but until you believe and fully expect that those things will come to pass you will not attain the level of success you deserve and that is possible.

This belief is why you should always think in terms of the present when writing down your plans. When you begin  to reach your goals, it helps to foster that belief., but fully expect those results before they happen!

Sometimes it is difficult to maintain that belief by yourself, which is why you should always have a good mentor, one from which you might gain insight, motivation, experience and leadership.

3) Attending events and company conventions. These functions provide you not only with critical training and motivation but is essential for building belief both in yourself and what you are doing.

When you meet with and get to know people who are having tremendous success, and you are doing what they are doing, you have no choice but to emulate that success.  You also get to meet and bond with your leadership and your team, often who are geographically separated in this day and time of internet business.

You will demonstrate leadership to your team who cannot attend the event, and will be able to pass along to them the same skills, motivation and belief that you attain by attending. When you attend the next event and have your team with you you will see and believe in the results!

GROWTH in your MLM business

Although there are other critical things to ensure your success, the actions stated above are the ones that are proven over and over again to be the tipping points to massive success in MLM.

And I should also add an important footnote from a reader and friend of mine, Michael Buccilli, “One must, on a regular basis, update and refine one’s goals, aspirations, and plan of action”. Just as echoed in a famous quote by Winston Churchill, “However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.”.

This point was made recently Art Jonak’s Mastermind Event, held in October of 2009 by several multiple 7 figure earners in MLM. There was a consistent emphasis on PLAN-DO-REVIEW-ADJUST throughout the event, along with the key points discussed here.

While not to overlook the basic necessities for success in your network marketing business:

the point is that when these are combined with the three aspects of growth llsted above, you WILL succeed in reaching your goals!

Of course there are the basic necessities for success in your network marketing business, such as knowing how to choose an opportunity (evaluating a compensation plan, P&Ps, and products), knowing how to talk to prospects, and utilizing a simple, duplicatable training and marketing system. But when combined with the three aspects of growth above, you have no choice but to succeed!
