Many people have been finding out that as opposed to chasing and cajoling family and friends to join ones MLM business, using attraction marketing to generate and qualify leads for their network marketing business is a definite improvement.

Many network marketers and sales people have been using attraction marketing, although probably not by that name, for as many years as marketing has been around.

But with the advent of social networking,  attraction marketing has taken on a new persona.

Attraction marketing is founded on solving the problems of clients or prospects. In effect, this is adding value in order to attract these prospects as customers.

The goal is to build know-like-and-trust. With traditional advertising, having a well known name, tag line or catch phrase is everything to building familiarity (the ‘know’ and eventually the ‘trust’ part of know-like-and-trust).

Advertising follows these principals as can be seen in various print, television and radio ads.

The marketing industry is realizing that online social networking has added a new paradigm to the traditional methods, and various studies have been going on to evaluate the phenomenon of social media and its effects on marketing. This blog post tells of  “The Decline of Traditional Advertising and the Rise of Social Media“.

For network marketers in particular, this evolution, together with attraction marketing, provides a vehicle for attracting prospects in a targeted market.

Generating Network Marketing Leads Using Attraction Marketing

Many network marketers struggle with the skills necessary to properly prospect people in their warm market, much less approaching a cold market.

Therefore, when they have exhausted their family and friends, most of them get discouraged and eventually quit.

The more motivated of this group of people go on to realize that there are other means of training and lead generation available to them online, particularly in the area of social networking.

But many of them, and in fact most, are still unaware of these methods, or at least confused as to how to apply attraction marketing to generate leads for their business.

Although there are those people who are comfortable in approaching anyone about their product or opportunity, they are not pre-qualifying those leads. This causes them to be spending lots of time and energy on people that they shouldn’t.

The truth is, you do not need to, nor should you be chasing family and friends and everyone else that you know to get them to join your business.

And, many know how it makes them feel and they don’t wish it upon their own family, friends and causal acquaintances because they do not wish to strain those relationships.

And you certainly do NOT have to BUY leads. Using attraction marketing enables you to generate your own targeted and highly qualified leads, for free.

Using social networking is a way to expand your own personal network, and build trust and while encouraging relationships, while you get the training you need for the skills necessary for success.

That training then gives you the opportunity to add value for and solve the problems of your target market. And if you are a network marketer, your best, most qualified target market is other network marketers.

Social networking is a natural companion to network marketing, since the key to success for any network marketer is relationships. It gives you a platform for building your profiles and giving people the opportunity to know, like, and trust you.

It gives you the opportunity to provide value for your target market.

Capturing and ~Qualifying~ MLM Leads

But even with the promises of many new leads, it still takes time to build the relationship to a point where a business opportunity should even enter into the discussion.

When using attraction marketing properly, you are not leading with your product or opportunity but with yourself, branding yourself, ‘You-Inc’ as it has been dubbed.

When you do this and provide value, your prospects will be attracted to you. You should not be chasing after them. And while you are building your relationships, you should be qualifying your prospects.

You should and probably already do understand how to gather your leads using capture forms and pages. The capture page containis leading ad copy with the form where a person enters their contact information (at a minimum an email address but preferably in addition to a phone number, especially if you are in network marketing).

And in order to automate followup and begin building a relationship, the use of an auto-responder or contact management system is required.

Although some might feel that the auto-responder is the complete solution to building the relationship and trust, this is never accomplished without personal contact. This is why social networking is key. However, nothing surpasses actual contact via phone or in person.

Qualifying the leads results from the process of the information provided in the auto-response emails and personal contact. Using these vehicles the marketer can gauge the prospect’s interest and coachability, and whether the relationship is one which fosters trust and a good working relationship.

The Importance of Duplication

Duplication is one of the key elements to success in network marketing, aside from retention. But duplication can lead to success which will result in retention.

Much of the problem of attraction marketing is that it is not duplicatable. This is due to the fact that it IS about YOU and so therefore by definition should be unique.

But if the system which at least provides the funnel, the capture pages, auto-responder, ad copy and training is not duplicatable, then it may rule out much of a market who are in the business of network marketing but are not interested as much in becoming advanced internet marketers, at least for the time being.

Many part time network marketers, and even full time professional network marketers who have been doing business the traditional way for years, do know know how to build a capture page, manage an auto-responder system, or write good ad copy for the dozens of auto-generated emails that system should generate. These skills may take quite some time to develop.

And when the number of skills required aside from that is vast enough; internet marketing, social media marketing, not to mention the tools they may never have been taught, like how to talk to prospects or understand compensation plans, they could easily be overwhelmed and discouraged.

With a duplicatable system you have at least some time to gain experience at marketing such a system and improving those particular skills. Using a proven duplicatable training system can hep you to both train your team, and help them to obtain and qualify their own leads.

Providing the basic framework of an attraction marketing system will provide the tools your team needs to get started immediately.

Some people have found tremendous success in using a proven, duplicatable MLM attraction marketing system that is underpriced and over-delivers on value, is completely generic and does not promote any particular company or product.  This system addresses problems faced by the target market of network marketers:

  • Training and Support
  • Lead Capture Pages
  • Auto-Responder with Emails
  • Getting Targeted, Qualified Leads
  • Duplication
  • Relationship Building

This system provides capture pages, leading industry training, support, and auto-responder letters and functionalitiy which will hep you to explode your business leveraging the internet.

All that is required of you is that you be willing to give without want, over deliver, and help others without expectation or ulterior motives.  The time is not as much as you think when you consider that you are leveraging the expertise of people with decades of experience and success in the industry.

Your time will be only in directing them to the training they need, and in building your relationship, building trust and attraction. A portion of your qualified leads will turn into customers or reps, due to 3 out of 10 of them looking for a company, and others out of that 10 needing later on to find a new company due to a 98% failure rate in the industry.

It is as Zig Zigler said after all, “You can have everything in life you want, if you help others get what they want.”
