I would say first that an open mind to other money making avenues is important, such as with network marketing, but the internet can bog one down with all there is to learn, all of the distractions in the form of tools and training to buy. This is why it's important to have a mentor, and pick one and no more than a couple of people to follow for at least a year while you train and implement... growing your business should come first. Any business needs to balance their "big picture" marketing programs with the prospecting programs. It's definitely not a black/white decision. One thing I think that is important to keep in mind though is to always TRACK where your time is being spent and also what your results for each of these efforts are. As the old managers saying goes "...if you can't measure it, you can't manage it". Thanks for the thought provoking post. I agree with the overall point being made here.
